The Brain Tree Quests

The Brain Tree booms 'I have a job for you, human'

"The Brain Tree sits alone in the haunted woods... he is the only tree to have developed intelligence, and he thirsts for knowledge. If you accept his quest, he will ask you a question, your quest being to find the answer in a limited amount of time. It is said that the quests are very difficult... but worthwhile!"

The Brain Tree will reward you with a rare prize if you can tell him when and where a certain famous neopian died. (ex: "When and where did Chester Chiapot die?")
The absolute only way to complete this quest is by feeding the Esophagor twice. The first time you feed him he will tell you when they died, and the second time he will tell you where (ex: Chester Chiapot died in 35 BN in Virtopia.) Then, go back to The Brain Tree and type in the answers. You will be rewarded with a random rare item and with np (ranging anywhere 500np to .... !) Don't listen when people tell you they can give you the answers to the Brain Tree's questions. Brain Tree quests have random answers. So even if you had the same quest as someone else, you would still need different answers.
If you want to see the highest Brain Tree Scores, go to the Hi-Score Table so you can see who got the biggest rewards!

What He Wants: Mostly spooky items
What He'll give you: Rare misc items and np. He may even challenge your pet as a battledome contestent.
Worth it?: If you need him for a quest and the items are under 6,000np, then yes. Otherwise he can get pricey. But he does sometimes give out some special hard to get battledome items.

The Esophagor

"Living in the ground under the Haunted Woods, the esophagor is always hungry. When he rises out of the ground, he will always find *something* to eat. So the next time you hear the floor shake... make sure you have some food on you to feed to this beast."

What He Wants: FOOD! Usually the Spooky kind
What He'll give you: If you are on a Brain Tree Quest, the first time you feed him, he will tell you the date some famous Neopian died and the second time, he will give you the place. If you are not on a quest, he'll give you a spooky item. He may even challenge you pet as a battledome contestent.
Worth it?: If you need him for a quest and the items are under 3,000np, then yes. Otherwise he can get pricey.

Edna The Witch Quests

The Witch's Tower - Home of Edna, The Witch

Edna is constantly trying to master her spells, spending most of her time tucked away in her gloomy, grey-walled tower, mixing ingredients in her bubbling cauldron.

"Welcome to my home... I deal in magic spells and potions. Need somebody to love you? Want to give somebody spots and itches? I'm the person to talk to :) "

What She Wants: Spooky foods, mostly.
What She'll give you: Spooky items, battledome Items.
Worth it?: Not in my opinion. But if you can get her ingredients for under 3,000np, then you might as well take a chance

Island Kitchen Quests

This poor little guy is constantly rushed off his feet. He is the only cook in a very demanding palace and could really use your help.

"Ever since the Royal Family of Maraqua lost their home, I have been living on Mystery Island serving food to the great Mumbo Pango. And he is SOOO hungry, demanding meals every 5 minutes. Can you help me make his latest request??? "

Formerly known as the Maraquan Kitchen Quests, you need to buy items for the cook to make his daily special, when you get what he wants he will reward you greatly.
What He Wants: Rare food items usually
What He'll give you: Aquatic food, petpets, and battledome items.
Worth it?: If the price is 6,000np, then you may luck out and get some neat stuff! As always though, it's a chance you take.

How can I find out what Quest I am on?

If you are on a Quest, you need to go back to the person that gave you the quest to find out what they need. This could be the Island Kitchen, Haunted Woods or the Faerie Quests page.

How do I Complete Quests?

When you are on a quest you will be asked for a certain item, piece of information or group of items. Once you have what you were asked for, simply go back to the person that gave you the quest and give them what they want.

Faerie Quests - Just go back to the quests page with the item in your inventory. If it is in your Safety Deposit Box it won't work.

Brain Tree Quests - Go back to the Brain Tree and type in your answer.

Edna the Witch or Esophagor Quests - Go back to the Haunted Woods and click on Edna or the Esophagor. As long as you have the correct items in your inventory, they will take them from you. If the items are in your Safety Deposit Box you will have to take them out first.

Mystery Island Kitchen Quests - Return to the Island Kitchen with the items in your inventory.
